About Rasen Horror
I’m A. Rasen, a horror creator drawn to the darkest corners of the mind. My stories delve into fear, trauma, and the battles we fight within—but also into the world outside, where quiet violence, control, and inequality hide beneath the surface of normal life. Through it, my work becomes a therapeutic journey to make sense of the world around me and, in the process, understand myself a little better.
In 2017, I debuted on Webtoon with Melvina’s Therapy (30 million reads), and over the past eight years, I’ve continued publishing new titles on the platform, including GremoryLand (24 million reads), Counting Sheep, and Manny.
Rasen Horror is my independent platform to tell new horror stories with full creative freedom. It was born from the need to create under conditions that respect my vision, support my work-life balance, keep inspiration alive, and allow for a deeper connection with readers.
This project is built on ethical values:
- Fair rates for collaborating artists, aligned with their professional fees.
- A mindful work model for the team that values balance, rest, and quality over speed.
- Open communication with readers, with honest updates and space for feedback.
- We rely on human artists for all key creative steps—proofreading, line art, coloring and music—with technology providing support but never replacing their role.
- Unfiltered horror works for an adult audience. Violent and disturbing imagery is not glorified—it’s used to reflect on and question dark realities, inviting introspection.
- Nudity is portrayed with naturalness and dignity, far from objectification, free from sexist censorship or imposed shame meant to control our bodies—and, through them, every other aspect of our lives.
If this vision speaks to you, support my work below. Thanks for making it possible.
