About Rasen Horror

I’m A. Rasen, a horror creator drawn to the darkest corners of the mind. My stories explore fear, trauma, and internal struggles, but also the external world where violence, control, and inequality hide beneath the surface of everyday life. I use the creative process as a therapeutic work to try to process the world around me and understand myself a little better.

  • In 2016, with some savings and a mix of fear and hope, I left my career as a web programmer to follow my passion and became a horror comic author.
  • In 2017, I debuted on Webtoon with Melvina’s Therapy, and over the past eight years, I’ve continued publishing new titles on the platform, including GremoryLand, Counting Sheep, and Manny, with over a hundred million reads combined.

In 2025, with a mix of fear and hope again, I took a break from Webtoon to find a better work-life balance. This led to the birth of Rasen Horror, my own platform for my new stories. It was born from the need to create under conditions that respect my vision, support my well-being to keep my inspiration alive, and allow for a deeper connection with my readers. On this platform, I’m launching my first self-funded project, made possible by my Patreon supporters: The Mofu Game.

The foundations of this project:

  • Fair rates for collaborating artists, aligned with their professional fees.
  • A mindful work model for the team that values balance, rest, and quality over speed.
  • Open communication with readers, with honest updates and space for feedback.
  • Working with real people, not generative AI, in every aspect of the process. Check here the full credits to discover the team and tools that make these stories possible.
  • Uncensored horror works for an adult audience. Violent and disturbing imagery is not glorified; it’s used to reflect and question dark realities, as well as invite introspection.
  • Nudity is portrayed with naturalness and dignity, far from objectification, free from sexist censorship or imposed shame meant to control our bodies, and through them other aspects in our lives.
